PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  1. Frontend Engineer (Part-time) | Serendpt AI

    Lagos, Nigeria | Apr 2026 – Present

    • Proposed and shipped Swift Agents Forms, supporting hosted forms and website integrations, submission tracking, and company-scoped TanStack Query data flows. Wrote integration documentation; the team observed no forms-integration support tickets after launch.
    • Built searchable agent knowledge-base workflows and scheduled/on-demand website traversal to refresh business context used by AI support agents as customer sites changed.
    • Resolved a customer-facing production issue where a chatbot script downloaded but never mounted, tracing it to an obsolete auto-mount guard left after a removed feature.
    • Built a Next.js merchant dashboard for transactions, reconciliation, payouts, and SIM operations, with KYC-gated data fetching, typed forms, and filter-aware query caching.
  2. Software Engineer, Frontend | Braudit

    Lagos, Nigeria | Feb 2023 – Apr 2026

    • Served as the sole frontend engineer in a five-person startup; owned frontend architecture and implementation as the business pivoted from career content to productivity and employee performance SaaS. Helped launch the original product within three months.
    • Designed a multi-tenant React/TypeScript frontend with Apollo Client, GraphQL code generation, organization-scoped requests, and distinct administrator, manager, and employee workflows.
    • Delivered the Workday experience, including task tracking, automatic rollover of unfinished work, and productivity grades visible to managers and admins. It became the most‐used workflow across 33 organizations, each with at least 30 employees.
    • Built reusable and composable UI primitives, shared configuration, and product views for goals, KPIs, workload, approvals, and AI-assisted performance reviews to support continued product changes.
  3. Frontend Engineer | Moonshot IT

    São Paulo, Brazil | May 2019 – Jan 2023

    • Identified a performance bottleneck caused by loading 4,000+ dashboard records into the browser; coordinated server-side pagination with backend engineering. In manual checks, observed load times fall from roughly 5–6 seconds to 1–2 seconds, with zero page freezes.
    • Built an interactive trip planner using Google Maps, drag-and-drop scheduling, and optimistic updates. Defined interim JSON structures and expected API contracts before the backend was available.
    • Developed data-heavy Bittensor dashboards with periodic refresh, a Vue/Nuxt education platform with five-language localization, and reusable components documented in Storybook.

SELECTED CONTRACT & INDEPENDENT PRODUCT WORK

  1. Co-founder & Frontend Engineer | SmoothBook (pre-launch)

    Lagos, Nigeria | Apr 2026 – Present

    • Architecting three Next.js applications for a multi-tenant short-let platform (manager portal, agent portal, marketing site), with shared typed API access, authentication, and organization-aware authorization.
    • Built organization switching, scoped TanStack Query caching, multi-step booking flows, presigned ID uploads, availability blocking, and price previews reconciled against server results.
  2. Frontend Engineer | Digital Spiders

    Lisbon, Portugal | Jun 2026

    • Built Slack activity notifications for Hook Point, matching customers to existing Slack threads by client name and consultation type; documented setup and operation.
  3. Web Developer | Studio Freight

    Columbus, United States | Jun 2025 – Jan 2026

    • Architected the Sanity CMS for Lightfield using reusable page sections, custom editorial safeguards, singleton pages, live preview, and editable navigation, SEO, forms, and site content.
    • Collaborated with a partner engineer to automate GrowthLoop content migration after the manual approach proved slow, saving substantial repetitive content-entry work.
    • Delivered Storyblok CMS setups across multiple client sites and wrote content-preservation scripts to retain original site content for agency showcases.
  4. Frontend Developer | Jundaro

New York, United States | Sep 2024 – Jan 2025

    • Built client, freelancer, and admin workflows for a marketplace, including project applications, transactions, disputes, and real-time messaging with TanStack Query and socket.io.
    • Implemented Sentry monitoring for production frontend issues and supported dashboard reporting and administrator workflows.
    • Worked with backend engineering to consolidate dashboard data into page-specific API responses; manually observed loading improve from approximately 4–6 seconds to around 1 second.
  5. Frontend Developer | TechSkill UK (Pather)

    London, United Kingdom | Apr 2024 – Jul 2024

    • Owned learner, expert, and admin frontend delivery after another developer left; shipped video/course workflows, live sessions, quizzes, moderation, and reporting dashboards.
    • Mentored an intern through task assignment and code review; authored coding guidelines and reused components to accelerate subsequent frontend delivery.
    • Improved page performance through code splitting and lazy loading of video players, quizzes, and charts, and configured Sentry for production error monitoring.
